The courses, aimed at children from 3-12 years, in public schools develop Villa Joy and Maspalomas and the hours are extended this year from 09:00 to 14:00
Summer School municipality of San Pedro del Pinatar has commenced operations this week with 350 children aged 3-12 years of age enrolled in the 384 places on offer for the months of July and August.
This year, the Department of Education has divided the children enrolled in different levels, so as to have launched seven groups in Villalegría and eight in Maspalomas.
The children are served by a total of 15 monitors in charge of small groups of between 12 and 15 students, which promotes a friendly and personalized.
In addition, the teaching program includes educational workshops and daily tutoring, and various leisure and recreational activities, such as workshops, sports activities and educational support, tailored to different age groups.
A new feature this year is that the service has been extended an hour a day, so that summer school is held from Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 14:00 hours.
