The program has included in its second edition talks and activities for women in which they have addressed issues in education, health, cultural, and participation, among others.
The Councillor for Equality, Guadalupe Garcia, presided over the closing of the "Entre Nous", a meeting place where every Wednesday gives voice to the concerns of women pinatarenses through lectures on different topics.
The mayor stressed that this project aims to help overcome the limitations stereotypical roles, and allow a more balanced and open personality of women, helping to build relationships between the sexes based on respect and responsibility and encouraging participation of men and women in all areas of society.
During the ceremony, thanked the collaboration of professionals from various fields, that every Wednesday so selflessly participated in this project.
In addition, Garcia recalled that in parallel to this project has developed initiatives such as the Second Conference of Women Entrepreneurs, courses, workshops, the second joint board "Gatherings of Women", or the First Conference on Women and Sport, coordinated with the Department Sports on the occasion of International Women's Day.
Also, it has continued every week with the hiking program "Walking Together", in which dozens of women have come every Thursday in the town streets.
The council reiterated commitment to Equality and active participation of women, to which he invited to express their concerns and proposals for the third edition of Between Us starting after the summer.
