A group of 30 people from different parts of the Region participated yesterday in birding route is part of the program of free guided tours organized by 29 municipalities and Tourism Institute
The first birding route organized by the Department of Tourism of San Pedro del Pinatar banded Sunday, July 28, 30 people from different parts of the Region, as well as from other provinces like Madrid and Logroņo.
This route began at 09:00 am in the Visitor Center "Las Salinas" and continued with a tour of the paths of the Regional Park, where there were several stops where participants were able to observe many species of birds, such as the Flamingo (Phoenicopterus roseus).
The visit of two hours, was led by environmental guidance throughout the tour explained the peculiarities of the Regional Park and migratory birds that inhabit it.
This birding route is part of the second phase of the Free Guided by the Region organized by the Institute of Tourism of the Region of Murcia in 29 municipalities from 16 June until 16 September, giving the opportunity to learn about heritage cultural, historical, natural and ethnological Community.
The next ornithological routes, which have all covered places, will be held on August 11 and September 9.
