The courses, organized with the Federation of Commerce, Catering and Tourism of the CCOO and the Regional Employment Service (SEF) have been developed during the months of June and July and have trained more than 30 students.
Municipal Service Employment and Training Council of San Pedro del Pinatar, with the Federation of Commerce, Catering and Tourism of the CCOO and the SEF, developed during the months of June and July a cooking course and one of Merchandising and animation outlets, targeting both active workers and unemployed.
The animation course Merchandising and point of sale, which was held in the hotel's lounges Traiña, had a total duration of 40 hours of classroom training and focused on technical analysis and development of business and job qualifications in outlets, linear control box, etc..
The cooking course, which also took place in the hotel Traiña, had 40 contact hours and 35 hours of tele and provided students basic cooking skills from the necessary treatment of raw materials and food products, processing techniques, to presentation at the table.
The courses have trained a total of 32 students seeking employment in the town, belonging to different groups such as women, older than 45 and younger than 30 years.
This offer training, complemented with courses offered during the year for services Employment and People's University, is adapted to the labor market needs of the municipality, facing the tourism sector, particularly in retail and hospitality.
