The councilman of Culture and Celebration, Silvia Egea Morales, presented this morning in the center of Leisure and Arts emerging San Javier International Theatre Festival "Road Salt", an event that aims to bring the performing arts all citizens of the area.
The mayor explained that this festival emerged in 2004 in response to the number of visitors during the winter activities and the need to offer residents and visitors of San Pedro a proposed free summer entertainment in public spaces outdoor municipal .
After seven years since the last edition was held in 2006, the Department of Culture recovers this event with the intention of consolidating on an annual basis and an offer for all ages.
The festival will begin on Friday, August 9, with a performance by Ballet Flamenco Dance CM, which will open the event with a special interpretation of the famous tragedy Romeo and Juliet, from 23:00 hours in the park of La Aduana.
The same venue will host Saturday night August 10, from 21:00 pm Little House Mouse, a musical child who will Coal Club, cabaret that represent the same night in the parking Avenue Emilio Castelar, opposite the casino, from 23:00.
The famous Shakespearean tragedy Romeo and Juliet is provided by CM Dance Company of the Region of Murcia, and offers a play with thirteen dancers themed live music by Faustino Fernandez and his group.
The Mousetrap Theatre, meanwhile, presents a musical for children in which dolls and puppets of large format mouse will stage the house through original songs during the 70 minutes duration of the work.
Coal club, cabaret festival, run by Markeliñe company, which pays tribute to the miners through a fireworks display and visual games with sounds and lights ideal for night.
