The Leisure and Emerging Arts hosts on Saturday, August 10, a full program of activities to mark the International Youth Day with the participation of European youth exchange program UNITED
Councilwoman Youth council of San Pedro del Pinatar, Angela Gaona, today introduced programming International Youth Day to be held on Saturday August 10 at the Leisure Center Emerging Arts.
The mayor explained that the celebration is ahead of World Youth Day, which falls on August 12, to encourage and support young people to develop a more comprehensive program.
So, the day on Saturday will begin at 16:30 pm and will run until past midnight with lots of proposals that aim to show the activity throughout the year runs from the Department of Youth and various groups and associations in the Leisure and Arts Centre Emerging.
The program includes exhibition Re-building workshop in which young recycle old clothes to create custom shirts models, there will be games, by young people during the summer have participated in the playroom, and a display of modeling cold ceramics.
Also, from 19:30 pm the theater workshop students perform a work created by themselves and from 18:00 to 21:00 hours will be held on II Break Dance Regional Championship.
Parallel to this program, which will culminate with a concert, will develop specific activities with the group of young Europeans from Spain, Italy and Sweden making up the program UNITED that 5 to August 13 live on the Mar Menor to analyze and prevent cyberbullying.
The 35 young people who make up the program visit the Regional Park of Salinas y Arenales, the municipality's beaches, displayed in the mini cinema projections and contents insurance will rise multimedia classroom.
The day will culminate with a concert from 21:30 am, which will feature performances from Gate 8, group II winner Talent Contest San Pedro del Pinatar, the soloist Callum and a performance by Italian group integrated into the Project UNITED, which put the finishing touch with an interesting mix of musical styles that merged classical instruments like the violin, the guitar, the piano or saxophone, electronic sounds and DJs.
