The village of El Mojon, located between San Pedro del Pinatar and Pilar de la Horadada, held yesterday in San Roque onomastics with a procession and a mass campaign on the esplanade along the seafront.
The people of El Mojon held yesterday the festival of San Roque with a procession of the image, cover the shoulders by women and accompanied by the band of bugles and drums of Christ of Forgiveness, which toured the main streets of the coastal hamlet, from headquarters of the neighborhood association to the esplanade bordering the waterfront.
Around 20:00 pm Mass was celebrated campaign in honor of San Roque in the square, which was attended by dozens of neighbors and the Councillor for Tourism of San Pedro del Pinatar, Antonio García, other mayors of the municipality , the village headman, Robert Codon, and queens and ladies of the holidays.
The day concluded with a popular festival in the courtyard after 23:00 hours.
The festivities of El Mojon began last August 7, with various activities planned by neighbors, and will conclude on Sunday, August 18, with a dog show and fencing tournament.
