The Councillor for Employment and Training, Antonio Garcia, has awarded diplomas of the English courses to the public, Level I and Level II, which have been held at the Centre for Tourism Initiatives.
The Department of Employment and Training has organized two English courses to the public, framed within a free training program with nine workshops for the unemployed, with the aim of promoting job search and increase your chances of finding work.
English workshops meet the demand of local businesses to find workers with skills in this language, especially in service sector jobs related to direct customer service.
In the ceremony of diplomas of these two courses that have trained 45 students, Councillor for Employment, Antonio Garcia, emphasized the importance for a tourist resort, as is San Pedro, have language training of workers performing their public-facing activity, to provide quality service and build St. Peter as an international tourist destination.
The courses were taught in two levels I and II, with a duration of 30 hours, given in three different groups to facilitate the attendance of students who have learned to solve correctly and fluid situations in customer English language processes develop oral and written comprehension and oral expression generated by this activity.
