Municipal Warehouse Operators, in coordination with the Department of Education have conducted more than 175 performances of painting, landscaping, masonry, glass, signage, etc..
in schools and colleges of the town and its surroundings
The departments of Community Services and Education have coordinated over the summer more than 175 works, locksmith, carpentry, masonry, painting, plumbing and glassware in classrooms, common areas and courtyards of the seven public schools and two high schools in the municipality with in order to guarantee the perfect condition of these facilities at the start of the course.
Prominent among the different tasks performed, the renovation of several centers fenced, gravel replacing several courtyards, the suitability of areas for school gardens, pruning of trees, or installing hoops for bicycle parking.
Were also revised the electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting classrooms, locksmith, sporting facilities and outdoor furniture of various centers.
Have also been conditioned access to the centers with vertical and horizontal signs and performed cleaning and solar areas near schools and colleges.
The aim of the Council is to ensure the proper state schools at the beginning of the school year and meet the demands of the local educational community.
