The test has had more than 400 runners, 250 in the race of 13.4 kilometers, 95 at 7.6 miles, and more than 80 children who participated in races of 200, 800 and 1200 meters.
Marina Port of Las Salinas has welcomed this morning at 10:00 am, the popular race start Sandpiper, which has had a large share in this first edition in which brokers have been able to travel the unique surroundings of the park Natural Salinas y Arenales de San Pedro.
The test consisted of two runs, one of 7.6 miles and another 13.4 kilometers in which participants were able to enjoy the uniqueness of the landscape, through natural beaches, salt ponds, mills and Quentin's Calcetera, the weirs, or the mud baths of La Mota.
Likewise, the technical challenge test had as different surfaces to which participants have faced, from asphalt to sand, cobblestones and earth through.
In the test of 13.4 kilometers, the broker Manuel Mesias Casaliglla, with a time of 53 minutes 46 seconds, was the first to cross the finish line, followed by David Saura (54'14'') and Guillermo Martínez (54 ' 39'').
While Angel Castro, with a time of 29'34'' has been ranked the first, followed by Juan Antonio Martinez (31'30'') and Antonio Cano (31'38'').
In the women, Yvonne Morrison has been classified in the first race of 13.4 miles, and the young Pilar Duarte was victorious in 7.6 miles.
Around 12:00 hours the spotlight has been for children, who have competed in distances of 200, 800 and 1,200 meters in the Marina harbor facilities of Las Salinas where, after the awards ceremony, it has offered a cauldron by the association of fishermen, to all participants.
