The Department of Women and Equality program resumes after the summer with practical lecture series "Between Us" walking routes "Walking Together," a Reading Club and the Training Classroom Turns
Councilwoman Women and Equality, Guadalupe Garcia, today unveiled the schedule for this Department for the months of October to December.
The mayor explained that on October 16 the cycle will resume talks "Between Us", in which women gather weekly municipality to address various issues and show their concerns and interests.
Guadalupe Garcia noted that this program, consolidated over the years, is constructed taking into account the preferences and contributions of women every Wednesday attending the cycle at the Center for Women and Social Services.
"Between Us" will begin on October 16 with a talk on cognitive stimulation "Memory Workshop" to be held in two sessions by psychologist Pilar Martínez Invernón, the center of the City Social Services.
On 30 October there will be a talk about smoking called "Smokeless breathe better: The consequences of snuff", by Carlota Garcia Medical Health Center Lo Pagan, and Lola Aparicio, nurse the same center.
Between us continue with three workshop sessions Cakes Ornaments I by Laura Sanchez, to be held on 13, 20 and November 27.
The month of December will be another Christmas decorations on workshop taught by Maria Guirao.
The councilman pointed out that this cycle have been other initiatives such as the "Gatherings of women", who meet every Tuesday to perform different tasks that subsequently sold in a joint board for the benefit of local associations.
The Department of Women resumes also a new edition of "Walking Together" a hiking program that takes place every Thursday at 09:30 am and the participants roam the sights of the town accompanied by a sports instructor .
New this year, the program expanded its routes with natural routes of other towns like Torrevieja and Cartagena.
Also, this year he joined a book club, which meets the first Wednesday of each month in order to motivate, encourage and encourage active reading, a space where participants can discuss a work among all previously selected.
The club will begin its session on Wednesday, November 6 and will be guided by Susana Ros of Ler Bookstore San Pedro del Pinatar.
This edition also continues the Active Training Classroom, aimed at women who lack computer skills and thus provide them with tools such as the use of email or internet job search.
