The Musical Union side San Pedro del Pinatar offered this Friday, November 22, a concert in honor of St. Cecilia, patroness of music.
The event began with a recognition of the new additions to the municipal band, as well as the most outstanding students of the School of Music, receiving a gift from the hands of their teachers.
The concert, directed by María Isabel Rubio, began with the paso doble "Goya" by Julian Lever Mas, and continued with "Sedona" by Steven Reineke, "Baghira" Ferrer Ferran and "Homage to Rodríguez Soto" Camilo Perez and Perez.
The program was completed with "First Suite In E flat op. 28" by Gustav Holst, and "Bands around the world" by Paul Yoder and Harold Walters.
