The mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar, Visitacion Martinez, and the larger pattern of the Brotherhood of Fishermen, Juan Pablo Martínez, today attended the reopening of the renovated Museum of the Sea
The Fishermen's Association has remodeled this museum, founded in 1980, moving the exhibition space into a room more zoom Hogar del Pescador.
In addition, improved lighting and classification of the exhibits and a display, donated by the city, where images and documents audioviusales project is installed.
The collection of this museum, owned by the Fishermen's San Pedro del Pinatar, consists of model boats, fishing gear, quirky fish, shells, and with a wide collection of photographs that testify to the work at sea.
Most of the pieces come from fishermen, neighbors and others over the years have contributed valuable articles to be displayed in this space.
The Maritime Museum was able to visit from 11.00h to 13.00h and 17.00h in the afternoon from 19.00.
