The CEIP del Carmen Our Lord held this morning activity "Healthy Breakfast" which are designed to promote healthy eating habits among children.
The school Our Lady of Carmen today distributed 330 healthy breakfasts among their students, which consisted of bread with oil and mandarins, under the Health Education program of the center.
Besides this activity, teachers have worked in the art classrooms with children, explaining the benefits of the Mediterranean diet, and have also made a large mural depicting the different food groups.
The center's director, Mariano Visedo, thanked the cooperation of the establishment Supercosta, who has donated foods healthy breakfast and explained that the purpose of this activity is to educate students and families about the importance of proper nutrition education.
Meanwhile, the Councillor for Education, Guadalupe Garcia praised such initiatives from the different schools in the municipality, are urged to promote healthy lifestyles among children.
