The City of San Pedro del Pinatar has undertaken in recent months a number of alterations to the facilities of the local sports center, with a staff of approximately 33,800 euros.
Thus, the most important action, with a budget of 27,770 euros, has been the closure and isolation of a multipurpose room, which is also provided with a new mat, and host different sports classes included in the municipal supply.
Mainly this space will house 60 students and 50 taekwondo maintenance, although pilates and toning can also be developed, among others.
In recent months it has also been adapted one of the toilets of the municipal flag for handicapped access to what has been allocated 1,000 euros and a perimeter fence is being installed on the football field with artificial turf "The Antolinos" which has had a budget of 5,000 euros.
The mayor of the municipality, Visitacion Martinez, who visited the facilities by the Councillor for Sports, Pedro Luis Vera, has indicated that the objective of these reforms is to adapt and improve the functionality of the sports facilities to the demands of users.
