The regional government has awarded the concession to run and operate the construction of the new dock of the port of San Pedro del Pinatar to Amjomar Marine Services Company Ltd., for a period of 27 years.
Under the bill, the total investment in the works, both the dock as outbuildings, shall be 2,058,056 euros.
The fee for the use shall be 45,000 euros per year.
It also includes other annual operating fee, originally planned in 19.154 euros, which will accrue when developing on the slipway and commercial activities for profit.
The new dock is located in the inner harbor of the port on the shore of the Mediterranean Sea.
Specifically, it is located between concessions Yacht Club Villa San Pedro Waterfront and Marina Deportiva de las Salinas, who share their waters further with the fishing port of San Pedro.
The intended uses are directly related to and arising from the operations and functions of the beached, shoring, maintenance, repair and launch.
It will provide the slipway of the corresponding supply network for lighting, water, electricity and compressed air, fire protection, drainage and waste collection and recycling center reserved as wastewater treatment facilities area, among other services.
In addition to this new port infrastructure, the grant includes the construction of a building to house a workshop area for boats and other offices.
