A total of 10 students of the Municipal Sports School Badminton participated last February 8, representing their schools in the regional final of the program of Sports School Age, organized by the General Directorate of Sports and Physical Activity.
San Pedro del Pinatar was represented in the final, which was played at the sports center of the Torres de Cotillas, the five teams that qualified for the seven who participated in the previous phase.
Thus, male youth team Tárraga IES Manuel Escribano was the winner in this category, while girls of this school scored second in female youth.
In male junior class team of IES Manuel Escribano Tárraga took second place, while the women's team was third.
In addition, the team also CEIP San Pedro Apostle finished in third place in the category of male cadet.
Students of the Municipal School also had the collaboration of the Badminton Club of San Pedro in preparing students for this championship.
