After gaining their trust, getting pictures and videos of sexual content, by threatening to get material or sex, coming to offer money
Under the "MAY" operation, police arrested earlier this month to a person in the Murcia town of San Pedro del Pinatar, for alleged offenses of threats of 5 9 offenses of corruption of minors and 4 prostitution offenses.
Research dating back to last October 2013, when the Meritorious receives a complaint that a child reported to have been threatened by a man of about 40 years to accede to sex.
This man had contacted him through a popular social network posing as a 17 year old.
After starting the aforementioned operation, "MAY", it is known that the same user who posed as underage, creating different profiles used in the same social network, through which would have contacted about 500 minors, which have been able to locate a total of 11 victims aged between 13 and 17 years, in the provinces of Alicante, Murcia, Malaga, Toledo, Madrid, Salamanca and Huelva.
Finally, the result of intensive research, we were able to identify the alleged perpetrator, proceeding to his arrest on February 5 at his home in Murcia town of San Pedro del Pinatar, performing an input and record in the referred home, where a computer and several hard drives, capable of containing these pedophile material intervened.
Modus Operandi
The now detained, allegedly made contact with minors through chat of that social network, for employing diverse profiles of children, boys and girls alike, it was in talks with for several months.
Once confidence is gained minor, could get both photographs and videos of sexual content thereof and then, apparently, they threatened to publish such material if they did not agree to provide new images.
The alleged perpetrator came to rendezvous with some of the children, at which time they discovered that it was actually a man in his 40s, who offered them money in exchange for sex and even threatened them with hanging by their people photographs in compromising attitudes possessed them, and so will pressure them to surrender to their propositions.
The detainee of Spanish nationality, age 50, is charged with the alleged alleged commission of the above-outlined offenses, which has been made available to the Court of Instruction No. DOS of Torrevieja (Alicante), together with the proceedings initiated.
