The Regional Confederation of Organizations of Cartagena (COEC) led by its President Pedro Pablo Hernández, this morning held a working meeting with representatives of the Municipality of San Pedro del Pinatar, chaired by the Mayor, Visitacion Martinez.
The meeting has been attended Innocent Canovas, Juan Castejón, Leandro Alfonso Sánchez-Hernández and Briz, all Vice COEC, Juan Carlos García, Secretary General, Juan Antonio Gonzalez, Treasurer.
By the City Council has also assisted Carlos Moreno, head of the Local Development Agency of San Pedro del Pinatar.
In the same cross used different topics, such as infrastructure, agriculture and tourism as economic engines, the situation of township entrepreneurs, and other regional and national issues.
COEC President has welcomed the collaboration offered by the City of San Pedro del Pinatar in matters of corporate interest.
In addition, the Mayor has requested the active participation of the City in the generation of content and ideas for the project "Strategic Plan 2015-2020" COEC that will develop, in collaboration with all the municipalities in the District of Cartagena and other institutions , to be presented at a conference held in the first quarter of 2015.
The Mayor initially expressed the great efforts being made by the City of San Pedro del Pinatar to deal with municipal debt, decreasing considerably in two years thanks to cost containment measures and optimization of all economic resources.
The Mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar has outlined measures that the City is developed to boost the business of the town, referred to in the "Municipal Development Plan Employment and Management" which includes support for the creation and implementation of business in the town and the creation of the "Bag Commercial and Industrial Premises."
The mayor informed the program of future actions that the City is designed together with the Institute for the Promotion of the Region of Murcia (INFO), aimed at enhancing the competitiveness of small and medium enterprises in the municipality, and that includes the implementation of a series of thematic workshops and commercial on-line marketing.
He also reported the upcoming celebration of "III Business Days of San Pedro del Pinatar", organized jointly with the Regional Employment and Training (SEF), and future cataloging of San Pedro del Pinatar "Entrepreneur Municipality" of Murcia.
Pedro Pablo Hernández has offered to all employers and business associations in San Pedro del Pinatar the possibility of having, in collaboration with the City of direct advice in matters of business and regional interest, in the interest of all.
Finally, all stressed the need for the arrival of the various county and regional infrastructures, such as the Mediterranean corridor, the AVE, Corvera Airport, Storage Logistics Zone (ZAL) and macropuerto "Gorguel".
