The Association of Family and Women in Rural, AFAMMER, how geriatric nursing assistants 15 women of San Pedro del Pinatar, in a workshop organized jointly by the departments of Employment and Equal course.
The City of San Pedro del Pinatar, through the Department of Employment and Equality, has extended the offer of employment training with a course of geriatric nursing, taught by AFAMMER and which will run from March 25 to May 5.
The Councillor for Equality, Guadalupe Garcia thanked AFAMMER Murcia implantation in the town of this course, which will train 15 women who receive professional training as a nursing assistant, especially in specialized therapeutic care and elder care.
During the course the functions developed in different areas of geriatric health will be discussed, and the students will be trained on the most common physical and mental disorders in the elderly, as well as prevention, control and daily care.
Your training will be completed with modules on organization of material resources in a service unit, as well as job counseling and job security.
The course is funded by the Ministry of Health, Social Services and Equality, and will be held from 9:30 to 13:00 in the Social Services Centre.
