The fifth edition of the competition this year included Processional Marches homage to procesionista the Year, awarded to distinctive Albaladejo Norberto Martínez
The church of the Holy Trinity hosted last Friday, April 4, the V Competition Marches Easter Procession "Villa de San Pedro" which was winning the play "The Red Robe".
During the ceremony the Musical Union of San Pedro band played the final five compositions, chosen from 40 participants marches from different provinces of Spain.
The march "The Red Robe" was the winner of the fifth edition with a prize of 1,600 euros and will be part of the Brotherhood of Our Lady of Sorrows.
The jury was composed by José Ibáñez Barrachina, Doctor cum laude in Music from the Polytechnic University of Valencia and Professor of Trumpet Corps Teachers of Music and Performing Arts of the Region of Murcia, M. Rubio Isabel Molina, director holder Musical Union and President of the San Pedro Jurado, Juan Jose Navarro Hernandez, director of the Municipal Band of Almería and Milanes Norman Moreno, director and composer.
During the event also gave the title Procesionista year, the Cabildo was awarded for the first time, Albaladejo Norberto Martinez, for his contribution to the Holy pinatarense week.
