The third edition of the Sea World Exhibition again this year to Lo Pagan with sports, nautical, environmental, exhibitions rescue, permanent exhibition, demonstrations and tastings pot, market and craft workshops, and more to enjoy the town until Sunday.
The mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar, Visitacion Martinez, general manager of Consumer Affairs, Commerce and Handicrafts, María Dolores Alarcón, today visited the Sea III World Exhibition, featuring dozens of activities until next Sunday, April 20.
This event aims to show the importance of the sea for the economic, environmental, social and cultural development of the municipality, through a program that includes permanent exhibition, exhibitions, guided tours, lectures, and workshops.
The Sea World Exhibition III features a main campus, located in the Parque del Mar Lo Pagan, where exhibitors appointment nautical, recreation gear and the salt trade, traditional crafts, a sample of the Spanish Institute of Oceanography are given and a screening room where documentaries on the Mar Menor and its environment is.
The youth group of folk rock Cauldron, dressed in sailor, took part today in the opening of the permanent exhibition with a performance of traditional dances.
This space also makes the show also preparing the cauldron by local restaurants and the brotherhood of fishermen and to be savored by only one euro, which is intended for the Spanish Association Against Cancer.
The exhibition schedule is from 11:00 to 20:00.
It also includes guided programming Regional Park Salinas y Arenales de San Pedro visits on Saturday where there will also be an open door, the craft market of Sal, train and tourist boat, rescue and exhibitions.
The wide range of III Sea World Exhibition complete with dozens of sports, including canoeing championships, dragonboat, sailing, beach soccer and beach volleyball, among other sports.
The mayor of the municipality, Visitacion Martinez stressed that the aim of this event is to offer alternative day for those visiting the town during Holy Week and expand and improve the tourist offer entertainment during this holiday period.
Meanwhile, Maria Dolores Alarcon stressed the importance of such fairs and events to support the local business sector.
