The Department of Culture has organized several activities this week in the House of Culture and the Constitution Square on the occasion of World Book Day
Councillor for Culture of San Pedro del Pinatar, Silvia Egea, presented today at the municipal library programming Book Day which includes various activities from 22 to 27 April.
Silvia Egea explained that activities begin tomorrow, Tuesday, April 22, with the Storyteller "stories The Seeker" by Theater of Carmen at the House of Culture, from 18:00.
On Wednesday 23 April, World Book Day, the awards ceremony of the First Competition for fiction "Salt", organized by the Department of Culture in collaboration with Spanish Salinera be held and who have attended more than 180 works of authors Spain.
The event will take place at the House of Culture from 21:00.
The events continue on April 24 with the opening of the exhibition of expressionist painting "Androgyny", painter and illustrator Álvaro Peña, with the art space of the House of Culture will open.
On Friday 25 April, the House of Culture will host from 21:00 presentation of the books "In the eyes of the Hedgehog" second work of Francisco Sánchez Lizón pinatarense writer;
"Sons of Alicante, legend Sebastien Venom", of Cordova and Sonia Alberto Valverde, and "Draft of a blank book," Toño Díez.
Subsequently, a discussion by the Universal Publishing, publisher of the three works, in which manuscripts will be received and the process is explained to publish a book is made.
During the weekend, on 26 and 27 April, the Constitution Square will host the Book Fair, in which Arco, Tahiche, Hilario Martinez and Bariloche participating libraries.
As part of this Book Fair also puppetry workshops, storytelling and children's theater aimed at the little ones made.
