The Department of Culture has for the first time this year a competition who have attended a total of 27 amateur theater groups from different Spanish provinces.
The Councillor for Culture of San Pedro del Pinatar, Silvia Egea, today introduced the IV sample amateur theater of the municipality, to be held every Friday of May in the House of Culture.
The mayor explained that, for the first time, this exhibition includes a section of three films for competition, which have been selected by the panel of judges from a total of 27 performances of amateur theater groups from different Spanish provinces.
The cycle begins with theatrical works to contest next Friday, May 2, with "Wash, mark and criticize" a comedy theater group Aladroque Cartagena.
The Cinétika group in the Alicante town of Mutxamel, represent on Friday May 9 comedy "If I do not die" while on May 16 will be the turn of Murcia UGETEATRO group that will take the stage "Forbidden Games".
The sample amateur theater will close with two works by local theater group La Barraca of Federico, out of competition, who will perform "Bicycles are for Summer" on Friday May 23, and "Dona Rosita the Spinster and language Flowers "on Friday May 30.
The closing of the Exhibition and awards to films for competition will be held on Saturday, May 31, from 20:00.
The best work will get a prize of 500 euros and also reward the best male and female performances.
