The number of registered unemployed in April in San Pedro del Pinatar stood at 2,451 unemployed for, representing a reduction of 219 unemployed for the month of April, by 8.2%, reaching levels similar to those of 2010 .
In annual terms the reduction is 308 unemployed compared to April 2013. Councilman Employment, Antonio García, has indicated that unemployment has decreased mainly in the services sector, with a reduction of 177 unemployed, and by age group, among 25 and 44, with 134 fewer unemployed, of which 93 are women.
Garcia stressed that this trend in job creation is also reflected in the number of Social Security, since continued to increase in March (last quantified locally) affiliations 215, 139 in the general scheme and 41 the Autonomous.
