The triathlete Fernando Ortiz Martínez, Laboratory SyS Triathlon Club, was the winner in a race in which athletes had to face a distance of 750 meters from swimming at the beach of La Llana, 20 kilometer bike and 5 kilometer walk , in the vicinity of Puerto Marina and Las Salinas Regional Park Salinas y Arenales.
Last Saturday, May 24, the Marina Las Salinas Marina hosted the VI Triathlon Las Salinas in Sprint mode, and with the timing of popular tests scheduled by the Department of Sports for 2014 opens.
The winner of the event, with a time of 01 hours 3 minutes 46 seconds, was the triathlete Fernando Martinez, Laboratory SyS Triathlon Club, followed by Jorge Valverde, CB Tribaria (1:04:35) and Alberto Diaz of CT Murcia who performed the test in a time of 1:04:58.
In the women, Marina Alcaraz got the best time 1 hour, 18 minutes and 33 seconds, followed by Ida Cortez, CT Tragamillas (1:19:18) and Herminia Abellan, CT Eagles (1:19:47).
The test began around 17:30 pm with section 750 meter swim at the beach of La Llana, which followed 20 kilometers cycling environment by Marina de Las Salinas harbor, Puerto Avenue and and overlooking the Salinas and Arenales, finishing with 5 kilometer race walk well in this environment.
