The City Council and FCC signed a new management contract for street cleaning for a term of 10 years incorporating improvements in machinery and citizen services.
The mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar, Visitacion Martinez, director of Fomento de Construcciones y Contratatas (FCC) Environment in Murcia, José Alcolea, today presented the new machinery that joins the street cleaning service.
The new equipment includes four sweepers, mechanical scrubber two cranes vacuums, two auxiliary vehicles and one open box inspection eight and ten housekeeping carts backpack blowers, brushcutters six manual three backpack sprayers, plastic bins 200 50 and 10 liter bins for dog waste tank.

This machinery improves cleaning effectiveness and generates less noise than the existing so far.
It is also adapted to certain environmental úlitmas European standards.
The renewal of the equipment is included in the new contract for street cleaning service for the next 10 years, which amounts to 9.88 million euros, which was awarded the FCC, which also incorporates improvements in services for citizens and strengthening the service in summer, parties and events.
