The public school Our Lady of Carmen, located in Lo Pagan, commemorated the day of the Region of Murcia, held on 9 June, a ceremony in which he paid tribute to Murcia poet Eduardo Flores, which names the street where the school is located.
During the ceremony, held yesterday, June 6, students in different courses, dressed in traditional costume, reviewed the biography and work of poet Murcia, reciting part of his work, as well as poems made by them and inspired by the writer's life.
The event, which was attended granddaughter and great-granddaughter of Edward Flores, ended with a concert by the youth wing of the Musical Union Villa de San Pedro.
