Last Sunday, June 22, San Pedro del Pinatar and Lo Pagan celebrated religious festival of Corpus Christi, in which over 150 children procesionaron communion.
San Pedro del Pinatar hosted the largest procession, preceded by a Mass at the Church of the Holy Trinity at 19:00.
Subsequently, the banners of the guilds of San Pedro del Pinatar opened the parade procession, followed by dozens of children who this year celebrated their first communion and flower petals sprinkled on the altars and the streets of the town, to the square of the Constitution.
Fraternities of San Juan, Santiago and Cristo del Perdon, the association of the Virgen del Carmen and faithful township seven altars set up in different parts of town to receive the consecrated symbol of Christ's body, carried by the priests of the town .
Members of the municipal corporation and the municipality closed faithful courtship followed by the band Musical Union of San Pedro.
The coastal hamlet of Lo Pagán celebrated Corpus Christi during the morning, with a Mass at the Church of Our Lady of Carmen, at 11:00 hours and a subsequent procession.
