The number of registered unemployed in the month of June in San Pedro del Pinatar stood at 2,239 unemployed for, representing a reduction of 147 unemployed from the previous month and 344
Councilman Employment and Training municipality of San Pedro del Pinatar, Antonio García, stressed that the positive trend in employment data recorded in the town in recent months, as the percentage of unemployed decreased since the beginning of the year came at 18.25 percent with 500 fewer unemployed and lower than those recorded in the same month of 2010 figures.
Unemployment has fallen in all sectors of age, especially among those aged between 25 and 44 years, with 95 fewer unemployed, whereas sectors in services is where more has dropped, with 121 fewer unemployed.
Garcia noted that this trend in job creation is also reflected in the Social Security data, since in May (locally quantized last month) there was an increase of 126 number of Social Security, and from early year there have been 611 contributors more in San Pedro del Pinatar.
