On July 13, in the Murcia town of San Pedro del Pinatar will be a run on horseback on a laptop installed square to the effect.
This is a show where two animals, bull and horse, led it by the matador, face off in a fight that none will emerge victorious.
The horse suffer tremendous stress because that will alter your nervous system causing serious consequences, in addition to more than likely suffer injuries in the fight.
The bull that will be subjected to a thorough and humiliating ritual of torture prior to his agonizing death.
And all this will happen by the one and only reason to seek amusement to the audience, including children although the Universal Declaration of the Rights of the Child states that these should be removed from all forms of violence to promote their proper development.
For this reason a group of citizens sensitive to animal causes, will focus on the six p.m. facing the square to shout loud and clear that public torture and killing of animals, cattle innocent, can never be considered art or culture.
From Murcia EQUO we want to show our regret and upset by the proliferation of such events in our region and encourage citizens to add their voice to those people who will focus on defense of animal life.
We must be aware of the suffering that these "celebrations" for the animals involved, and therefore must act until its demise and replacement by any other recreational activity that does not involve suffering to any being.
Moreover RM EQUO alert about the danger of conducting such events in portable places it would not be the first time an accident has occurred in a similar facility, which has led to the Society for Animal Rights ( SDARM) record two letters, in the city of San Pedro del Pinatar and Special Service Records and Bullfighting to request approval of the dossier in order to ascertain whether they comply with the law on the subject.
In the words of Toni Gomez, co-spokesperson for the green training, "expand the circle of solidarity and empathy towards animals, discarding their suffering, it is imperative to build a society in which peace is their hallmark."
