The coastal hamlet held on Tuesday, July 16th, the traditional offering of fruit and flowers in honor of the Virgen del Carmen, in a procession involving dozens of worshipers, many of them dressed in fishermen
The events in honor of the Virgen del Carmen, patron saint of the town, held throughout the week, included last Tuesday, July 15, the offering of fruits and flowers in Lo Pagan, who came from the residence to the church Franciscan MM Our Lady of Carmen.
Hundreds of faithful attended the procession, many dressed huertanos and fishing, while the rock Cauldron travel entertained with traditional dances and for the first time this year starred in the church, before the image of the Virgen del Carmen.
Also participated in the procession the mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar, Visitacion Martinez, Major pattern Fishermen, Juan Pablo Martinez, the reigns of the elderly, children, and youth, and members of the municipal corporation.
San Pedro del Pinatar culminated acts in honor of his patron early this morning, with the procession of the image of the Virgen del Carmen from the church Our Lady of Carmen, in Lo Pagan, from where it departed around midnight until the church of St. Peter the Apostle, the home place throughout the year and where he arrived around 02:00.
