The Councillor for Education of San Pedro del Pinatar, Guadalupe Garcia, Deputy Director General for Social Policy, Mary Help Moreno, and Maria Teresa Martinez, co-director of this activity today closed course "Children at checkout: areas of intervention."
This course, which has had 34 enrolled and developed for the second year in the town, has focused on bringing students to the field of the protection of childhood and adolescence.
During these days have developed presentations and exhibitions in which participated academic experts, practitioners of public administration, as well as other groups and associations involving children.
The Councillor for Education, Guadalupe Garcia, have highlighted the involvement of the City with the Universidad del Mar in training, and has stressed the necessary involvement and coordination of public administrations and other groups involved in child protection.
For his part, the deputy director general of Social Policy has highlighted the importance of providing specialized training in this area and thanked the daily work and professionalism of the employees of this administration in the area of ​​family and children.
The course co-director, Maria Teresa Martinez, has also highlighted that the academic side has combined with case studies and experiences of brilliant professionals who have dealt with an interdisciplinary way how to deal with situations of children at check out, from case detection the valuation of the same, the actions carried out, or intervention strategies.
