The municipality has six consecutive months with decrease in unemployment figures, plus the progressive increase of members of Social Security.
The number of registered unemployed in the month of July in San Pedro del Pinatar stood at 2,197 unemployed, representing a reduction of 42 unemployed from the previous month and 136 unemployed compared to the same month of 2013.
Councilman Employment and Training municipality of San Pedro del Pinatar, Antonio García, stressed that the positive trend in employment data recorded in the town in recent months, as the percentage of unemployed decreased since the beginning of the year came at 19.79 percent with 542 fewer unemployed and lower than those recorded in the same month of 2010 figures.
Unemployment has decreased mainly in people aged 25 to 44, with 30 fewer unemployed.
By sector, the service is registered to a further decline, with 33 fewer unemployed.
Garcia noted that the trend in job creation is also reflected in the membership details to Social Security, because there was an increase of 147 number of Social Security in June (quantified locally last month), and from Earlier this year se3 758 contributors have been more in San Pedro del Pinatar.
