Municipal Emergency Service has developed various training activities in the last week, as a first aid course and a core course for future civil protection volunteers
A total of 16 members of the Association of Families and Persons with Mental Illness del Mar Menor (AFEM) have received first aid course of 20 hours, taught by service technicians Civil Defense and Emergencies.
This course, taught for two weeks, have provided insights into the initial assessment of a rugged, disruption of vital functions, basic cardiopulmonary resuscitation techniques, bleeding and wounds, among other content.
Also in the last weekend, has been given a basic course in Civil Protection in integrated security center 21 aspiring volunteer, where they were given notions of law in civil protection, emergency plans and what is being volunteer.
This educational activity has a duration of 20 hours and is complemented by workshops on the various jobs that collaborate Civil Defence volunteers.
Councillor for Civil Protection, Pedro Luis Vera, highlighted the important work of training that develops from this area in the field of safety, first aid and prevention.
