The "I Ethnographic Cycle San Pedro del Pinatar," presented this morning by the Councillor for Culture of the Municipality of San Pedro del Pinatar, Silvia Egea, was held in the town during November and December with the aim of spreading the roots, regional and local customs and heritage.
Lectures, exhibitions, tours and screenings are at the heart of these early ethnographic days where we will visit regional geography from Cartagena to San Pedro del Pinatar and Pilar de la Horadada.
Doctors in anthropology, historians, painters and musicians will be among the speakers participating in the activities organized by the Association of Friends of Museums in collaboration with the Municipality of San Pedro del Pinatar.
This first ethnographic cycle will take place during the months of November and December, commencing on November 7 with the opening of a photo exhibition on the major flooding in San Pedro del Pinatar in 1987, the exhibition will be on display until 30 at Restaurant La Llana located in Puerto Marina Salinas.
On Saturday November 15th at 18pm and the Living Museum of Archaeology Barán Benifayo the Conference will take place "in the Shire Magic Rites" by Sanchez Jose Conesa, PhD in Social and Cultural Anthropology, BA in History and author several books about the history of various municipalities in the county.
On November 29, Javier Lorente, County multifaceted artist Mar Menor, offer the conference, "San Gines de la Jara. The Lost Oasis"
The exhibition of "Chariots of Pilar de la Horadada, a cultural manifestation" we can enjoy 1 to December 21 at the Centre for Tourism Initiatives, is a traveling exhibition that aims to inform the parties of the Alicante town and get the statement Relevance of Intangible Well Local.
December 13th will be held the third cultural trip to the Association of Friends of Museums organized by Red Cross North Mar Menor and this time will be at the Military Base Alcazares.
The cycle continues on December 20, in the room of Archaeology Museum Benifayo Baron, with a screening of the documentary "Olite Castle" and a subsequent lecture in which participate the Director Primitivo Pérez, historian Luis Miguel Perez and Pedro Contreras creator of music that received two nominations at the Hollywood Music Award and International Critics nomination for best music soundtrack historical documentary.
