The Councillor for Culture of the Municipality of San Pedro del Pinatar, Silvia Egea, and ciezano Semitiel painter José Segura yesterday inaugurated the exhibition "The soul touched" consisting of female nudes in which the author portrays a real woman, far from the current aesthetic canons in what he calls "human landscapes" that transcend the physical to reflect human feelings.
The exhibition consists of 12 large canvases produced in mixed media, are part of a much larger series that has already toured several cities within and outside the country.
The council stressed the path Semitiel Segura, whose work has been exhibited since the 90s in major halls and exhibition galleries in Spain, Latin America and other European countries.
The exhibition will be open until January 7 at the Art Space of the House of Culture, where the author also given, on 28 November, a master class in the art of watercolor.
