The Department of Social Services, through the Family program, teaches the 17 November to 10 December, an abuse prevention workshop designed for students of second cycle of secondary education institutes Tárraga Manuel Escribano, Dos Mares and school St. Peter the Apostle.
This workshop, taught social technician, Maria Angeles Rosillo, targets young people between 14 and 16 years, age at which normally begin intimate relationships, in order to prevent and reduce abusive behavior through direct intervention with teens.
This educational and preventive action, which takes place for six years, in addition to other actions aimed at eliminating violence against women, such as the Local Coordination Committee Against Gender Violence, in which all sectors of society involved related to this problem, and the activities planned for this month on the 25th of November.
