The mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar, Visitation Martinez, and the Councillor for Culture and Celebrations, Silvia Egea, presented today at a press conference scheduling Christmas 2014-2015, which includes 30 activities from December 12 to 8 January.
Visitation Martinez highlighted the work of the various councils that participate in this program, such as Culture and Celebrations, Youth, Social Services and Education.
In addition to the involvement of various groups and local associations.
The mayor noted that the objective of this program is to provide alternative entertainment pinatarenses during the holidays, without neglecting the more traditional acts.
The central areas of this program will be the Plaza de la Constitución, with the installation of traditional crib that you can now visit since last December 6th, and the tent city to house theater performances, solidarity events, tournaments, competitions, etc.
The council of Celebration, has indicated that the events begin next Friday, December 12, with the lighting of the Christmas lights and include two charity events such as Saturday December 13 the play "Ataka, the Radio + room", the local theater group "De 7-9", for the benefit of the parish, and Friday, December 19, also in the tent city, a bingo organized by the Association of Housewives benefit of AFACMUR.
Households with higher again have an important role in these celebrations with various activities such as sweepstakes or turkey intergenerational parties grandparents and grandchildren.
On Sunday December 14 Christmas is the Christmas contest, organized by the cultural association La Llana and this year will be entertained by the children's choir group Peña El Caldero.

Young people also have a space in these celebrations with the celebration, on Saturday January 20, the seventh championship Break Dance "Djando footprint".
On Sunday December 21 will be the presentation of the second documentary "Different Memories" held by the Aike Cultural Association in collaboration with Citizen Participation, and the five largest in the county narrate the recent history of the town through their experiences.
The Santa Claus parade will take place on Tuesday 23 December and will, as every year with the assistance of the local Ballet Kebanna, which will also accompany the January 5 the Magi on their ride from Lo Pagán up the tent city.
