The Department of Citizenship driving this initiative through the Bank of Wisdom Pinatarense and collaboration with the association Aike Mar Menor, responsible for the assembly of this audiovisual project in its second phase collects the experiences of five neighboring San Pedro del Pinatar
The Councillor for Citizen Participation, Silvia Egea, today introduced the Crusades documentary Memories II, a project of the Bank of Pinatarense Wisdom, in collaboration with the cultural association AIKE Mar Menor.
The mayor explained that this initiative was to honor the largest in the county by the celebration in 2012 of the European Year of Active Ageing and Intergenerational and aiming to treasure oral sources of the recent history of San Pedro del Pinatar.
Following the launch of the Bank of Wisdom, in which the stories of many elderly in the municipality through the homes of the pensioner and volunteers testimonies were collected, emerged in 2013 in collaboration with the association Aike Mar Menor and the first Crusades Memories with five testimonies over the city, an open and destined to continue the project, as shown in the second part of this documentary.
Silvia Egea thanked seniors who have participated so far in the project the generosity with which they have given their particular life stories.
Older involved in this second documentary, which will be screened on Sunday, December 21, at 19:00 in the tent city are Pilar de la Osa, Norberto Albaladejo "the 95", Julia Garcia "The Quica" Miguel Pérez "The Cure" and Jose Lopez "Pepe the Colache".
