Sports tourism, focusing on sailing and football matches, will focus the promotion of San Pedro del Pinatar in this important tourism showcase internationally.
The City will also show the tourism offer health and beauty, with traditional mud baths and modern spas and thalassotherapy;
sun and beach, with 14 kilometers of coastline on the Mar Menor and the Mediterranean, and Nature, with regional park Salinas y Arenales de San Pedro.
Calendar of festivals, entertainment, sporting and cultural events that are offered throughout the year in the region are also shown.
On Thursday, January 29, the mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar present line of sports tourism by betting municipality to contribute to the seasonal and diversification of the sector.
The presentation will focus on two important infrastructure, such as Pinatar Arena sports complex dedicated to professional football and the concentration of teams and clubs around the world, and the Center for Water activities, for the promotion, training and showing of sports water.
The event also will feature manager Nautical Activities Center, Amador Ferrer, who will explain the activities and projects that will develop in these modern facilities aimed at the practice and organization of competitions in different sports such as canoeing, kayak polo, kite surf, dive light or candle, among others.
Mariano Sanchez, manager Pinatar Arena, will present the balance of this sports complex since its launch in 2012 and in just three years has put the town on the map of international football, hosting dozens of teams from around the world.
Pinatar Arena, with seven football fields of natural grass, gym, spa and a wide range of services for computers that are concentrated in the town, has become the preferred destination of equipment in central and northern Europe during the winter months .
In addition, throughout the San Pedro del Pinatar fair will share counter with other municipalities del Mar Menor, from where to show the full and varied local tourism.
SMALLER SEA NAUTICAL STATION
The Mayor and Councillor for Tourism, Antonio Garcia, will also attend the ceremony of flags Marine Resort, an award that is given to the Mar Menor destination for the excellence of its tourism, nautical and sports activities.
In this event, to be held on Wednesday, January 28 also sign an international agreement with Turespaña Marine Resorts and a Framework Agreement for Cooperation between Autonomous Communities, Local Authorities and Marine Resorts.
