This award, given to the Mar Menor, recognizes the excellent conditions for practicing water sports and activities, and the quality of services.
The mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar, Visitation Martinez and Councillor for Tourism, Antonio Garcia, attended yesterday, January 28, to the delivery of flags Marine Resort, an event held at the Chamber of Commerce of Spain in Madrid the best Spanish sailing destinations were recognized.
Visitation Martinez got this award alongside the Council of Tourism of Los Alcazares, San Javier and Cartagena, the secretary general of the Ministry of Industry, Tourism, Enterprise and Innovation, José María González and José María Cano, a member of the Governing Council Nautical Mar Menor Cabo de Palos.
The event, attended by representatives of dozens of Spanish municipalities, was chaired by the president of the Spanish Association of Marine Resorts, Joan Campolier, and deputy director general of Tourism Development and Sustainability, Tatiana Maria Martinez.
Flag Nautical Centre recognizes the quality of services provided by the municipalities of the Mar Menor and the companies belonging to the nautical network, such as accommodation, water sports companies, catering, organizing sailing events and offer specialized products ready for commercialization .
