The City of San Pedro, through the Department of Employment and Training, with the aim of spreading the Municipal Programs that develop the Municipal Employment and Training Service, has launched a new series of seminars taught at the Centre for Initiatives Tourist, of "career guidance sessions, entrepreneurial motivation and knowledge of the labor market" among the students of the schools of the town, having developed first with 75 students from IES Manuel Tárraga Escribano.
The aim of these lectures is to enable "tools" for future employment and is initially aimed at students in their final year of Vocational Training Centre, the training specialties, getion Management (Intermediate), Financial Management (Advanced Level) Operations and fish farming (Intermediate).
Councilman Employment argues that "this program aims to foster the transition of students into the workplace to meet the pathways that best suit seeking employment and self-employment in today's society in a context of economic crisis."
