The Department of Sports has undertaken in recent months several investments to improve the service offered to users of the municipal sports center and other sports facilities, worth 67,331 euros.
The main action, with more than 42,000 euros investment has been building a new outdoor sports court, suitable for practicing football, basketball, volleyball, handball and tennis.
It has also installed a playground in front of the kiosk of sports, playgrounds, perimeter fencing and adapted soil.
To optimize the municipal sports facilities have also acquired storage elements for fitness equipment that occupied the multipurpose room, curtains sunscreen to avoid reflections on the main track and a stereo.
Have also acquired security fences inclined to sports events, an electronic scoreboard and bleachers mobile thirteen modules that will be installed as usual in the sports hall of the school Our Lady of Carmenen Lo Pagán but serve to expand the capacity of the main pavilion or any other facility.
The mayor of the municipality, Visitation Martinez, who visited the facilities by the Councillor for Sports, Pedro Luis Vera, has indicated that the aim of these reforms is to adapt and improve the functionality of the sports facilities to the demands of users and sports schools, clubs and associations that use them.
