The meeting addressed the implementation and impact of the different employment policies promoted in the Region of Murcia in the municipalities of Mar Menor
The mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar, Visitation Martinez, director of the Employment Service and Training of the Ministry of Presidency and Employment, Alejandro Zamora, representatives of the municipalities of the region of Mar Menor and the deputies that make up the Special Committee on Employment Regional Assembly, chaired by José Antonio Ruiz Vivo, have addressed today active employment policies at the local level.
The purpose of this committee is to know the implementation and impact of policies to promote employment which are developed through SEF, and the initiatives of the municipalities own and share ideas, projects and proposals in this area.
The director of the SEF has indicated that the Regional Strategy for Employment Creation vertebra many of its policies through municipalities, as main actors and protagonists in initiatives such as the mixed employment programs or training courses adapted to the production needs of each area.
For its part, the mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar noted that in addition to the policies promoted by the Regional Administration, the City has invested in training for employment through bodies such as the People's University and the promotion of entrepreneurship and supporting entrepreneurs.
During the committee have also advanced the upcoming calls for the county employment programs, with particular reference to youth guarantee programs aimed at unemployed under 25 years.
