The mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar, Visitation Martinez, and Town Planning, Angela Gaona, today visited canine recreation area in the north enabled Ride Mayor José Ballester, Los Antolinos.
This area is enclosed with a fence, with two entrances for owners with their dogs and is equipped with benches and bins.
Investment in this performance demanded by the neighbors to enjoy their dogs without them having to be tethered, amounted to 10,000 euros in the metal fence and information panels, as has been recycled street furniture that was in disuse for this area.
It has also installed an information panel with the rules of use, which states that access is exclusive to canine pets, phone book entries with microchip, the holder or owner of a dog shall be liable for damages and inconvenience it would cause or that the door must be closed at all times, including rules.
The mayor explained that this area responds to the demand of the residents to have spaces where dogs can be loose without causing discomfort and has indicated that they are looking for other locations to extend the initiative to other districts of the town.
The City has also renovated the playground ride Mayor José Ballester, who supplemented with Biosalud area, endowed with 1,500 euros, in which seniors can exercise.
