The triathlete Eduardo Chordá was the winner of this event in which athletes had to overcome a distance of 750 meters swimming in the harbor basin, 21 kilometer bike and five-kilometer race walk.

The trial, which involved 250 athletes began around 18:00 with section 750 meter swim, held for the first time on the beach of La Llana, which followed 21 kilometers by bike Marina harbor environment of Las Salinas, Puerto Avenue and the natural park of Salinas and Arenales, finishing with 5 kilometers of running.
