The Minister of Development, Public Works and Planning, Francisco Barnabas, and the Mayor of San Javier, Visitation Martinez, today held a meeting to discuss the latest procedures for the implementation of the maritime line between Lo Pagan tourism and La Manga.
Currently, the service has already been awarded to a concessionaire and is ending the adequacy of the required for docking the tourist boat on Nautical Activities Center, located on the dock of Lo Pagan infrastructure, and will be one of the points starting and finishing line.
Both the shipping line as the starting point adaptation have favorable reports from most of the authorities involved and the Ministry works to give in the coming days the final authorization.
This sea route is one of the bets of the City of San Pedro del Pinatar to boost the tourism sector, facilitating knowledge of the attractions of the Mar Menor and being a tool of interaction between two centers of great affluence and tourist attraction.
This line, which will connect the center of Lo Pagan Nautical Activities and Puerto Tomas Maestre La Manga will be established between the months of March and October, at least, and frequency vary depending on the season.
At least four trips daily round will be held during the months of July and August;
two courses a day, also return, in the months of April, May, June and September.
In the remaining months will be at least two return trips on Monday and Thursday, coinciding with the weekly markets.
