Registered unemployment in the municipality in April stood at 2,361 unemployed, representing a reduction of 155 unemployed, 6.16% compared to March.
The number of registered unemployed in March in San Pedro del Pinatar stood at 2,361 unemployed, representing a reduction of 155 unemployed from the previous month and 90 unemployed over the same month of 2014.
Councillor for Employment and Training of the City of San Javier, Antonio García, highlighted the positive trend in employment data registered in the municipality, as from February the number of unemployed has fallen by 283 unemployed.
Moreover, in April the reduction was 6.16%, compared to a decrease of 3.30% at regional level and 2.67% at the national level.
Unemployment has fallen in all sectors of age in people over 45 years it has decreased by 51 standing, one significant fact because it was the sector most stagnated in recent months.
By sectors of activity, it is where most services has declined, with 101 fewer unemployed.
Moreover, in April there has been an uptick in hiring in the construction sector, where 25 fewer unemployed are recorded.
