The hostel will host for the first time the scientific camp "Light: Source science, technology and progress", aimed at pre-university students, while the Center for Social Services and Women will host a workshop on "biomedicine and quality of life" .
The mayor of San Javier, Visitation Martinez, the director of the International University of the Sea, Monica Galdana, and the directors of the courses that are taught in the town today presented the training offered in the municipality of this institution, dependent University of Murcia, in the months of June and July.
Visitation Martinez stressed the close collaboration of the Universidad Internacional del Mar (UNIMAR) with the City of San Javier, town that has hosted fifteen years over forty different training courses areas and praised the outreach work carried out by the college through initiatives like this, where every summer the classrooms trasladas to different parts of the Region.
For its part, the director of the Universidad del Mar thanked the City Council collaboration in the thirty-sixth edition of the summer courses and noted that this year the offer will include a scientific camp that aims to search for scientific vocations from a entertaining and close perspective, an activity to be held from 22 to 26 June and the already completed all seats.
Galdana recalled that the workshop was also repeated biomedical and quality of life, which was well received at last year and in which the milestones are analyzed to achieve a better life.
The scientific director of the camp, Josua Enrique Fernandez, said that this camp, now in its seventh edition, will also include scientific activities, others playful, Regional Park excursions and water sports.
For his part, José Meseguer, co-director of the workshop on quality of life, which will run from 13 to 15 July informative and highlighted the multidisciplinary nature of this activity, which makes it accessible to all audiences, which are addressed different ways to achieve a better quality of life.
Besides the activity includes a spa in the hotel Lodomar and a trip to Weirs circuit environment.
